Reflective film – coating processing

Reflective film
The reflective film enables its surface to reflect light. It is usually composed of several material layers, and the thickness and refractive index of each layer are carefully designed to make the reflectivity reach the ideal state. It is used in construction, vehicle, optics, medical and other fields.
Dinghongrun There are dielectric reflection film, metal reflection film, and can also be customized according to the application needs.

Dielectric reflective film
The dielectric reflection film is composed of multilayer dielectric materials, and has the ability to reflect light in a specific wavelength range. The principle of this reflective film is based on the interference and reflection of light. By controlling the thickness and refractive index of the film, the reflection of light at a specific wavelength can be realized. It can be divided into metal reflection film and all dielectric reflection film. Metal reflective film is usually made of metal materials, which has the advantages of high reflectivity and wide spectral range.

Metal reflective film
The metal reflective film is usually composed of a single metal layer, which can be plated with gold, silver, aluminum and other metals, and has the advantages of high reflectivity and wide spectral range. Generally, metals have large extinction coefficient. When the light beam enters the metal surface from the air, the amplitude of the light entering the metal decays rapidly, so that the light energy entering the metal decreases correspondingly, while the reflected light energy increases. The greater the extinction coefficient, the faster the attenuation of light amplitude, the less light energy entering the metal interior, and the higher the reflectivity. Protective aluminum: aluminum is the thin metal material commonly used in the ultraviolet area, and aluminum (and silver) is commonly used in the visible light area. Protective silver: gold and silver are commonly used in infrared area. Protective gold: the infrared light area after 0.65 microns has reflectivity.
